RESEARCH REPORT “THE PREVALENCE OF SEXUAL ORIENTATION AND GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE AMONG LGBTI+ PEOPLE IN VIETNAM AND RELATED FACTORS”

 The research “The Prevalence of Sexual Orientation and Gender-based Violence Among LGBTI+ People in Vietnam and Related Factors” was completed and published at the end of March through the publication of the research results. In order to facilitate the study of the literature, the Hai Dang team decided to create a version of the document for the study.

 This is the first study in Vietnam to assess the experience of gender-based violence among members of the LGBTI+ community in Vietnam, conducted by Lighthouse Social Enterprise, based on data from 528 friends of all ages. groups in the LGBTI+ community.

 The study outlined an overview of the situation of violence that LGBTI+ young people in Vietnam were experiencing based on 04 dimensions of Mental, Physical, Sexual, and Development opportunities. In addition, the research helped to assess and show the types and levels of violence that community members may experience.

 This is an important source of scientific data, serving to evaluate and provide policy advocacy solutions for the safety and security of LGBTI+ community members.
