The training course “Basic mental health support skills through online platform“, sponsored by YPEER in Asia through the Evaluation of the Exceptional Opportunity Funding (EOF) – Robert Carr Fund is an activity to enhance the capacity of psychological support for 20 medical personnel working in the Reproductive Health and HIV/AIDS service system in Hanoi.
During the 2-day training course, the trainees continuously exchanged knowledge and skills under the guidance of Dr. Nguyen Ba Dat, Head of the Counseling Psychology Department, Faculty of Psychology, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and a therapy expert from Hanoi’s Psychological Space. Besides the necessary knowledge about mental health, the trainees also participated in role-playing activities as counselors and clients, and re-enacted real-life scenarios.
