The “Key Population Friendly Model Healthcare Facility Establishment” Project (KP Friendly Model) funded by the US CDC through Hanoi University of Medicine from 2019 was implemented by Lighthouse Enterprise and community organizations in Hanoi, Hai Phong and Thai Nguyen. The project aims to improve the quality of health services for priority communities, thereby contributing to the goal of ending the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Vietnam by 2030.

Within the framework of the project, the Learning Network for Health Equity for Priority Populations was established in 2023 to increase knowledge of the latest scientific information and practices about HIV/AIDS, transfer tools and lessons learned in strengthening cooperation between communities and health facilities, provide small grants to promote initiatives and engage communities, health facilities and relevant stakeholders in developing laws and policies to improve the quality of health services at health facilities.

Along with that are other highlights: Institutionalizing the template for collecting customer feedback nationwide; Technical support for the Criteria for Friendly HIV/AIDS Service Provision Facilities
