IN·clued Youth is an educational intervention project designed to reduce unintended pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections among young people aged 14-19 in the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and/or queer (LGBTI+) community in the United States. The project is implemented by Lighthouse in collaboration with Planned Parenthood and the model is being adapted and implemented in Vietnam.
The objective of the program is to improve sexual health outcomes for LGBTI+ youth. Specifically:
- Increase knowledge among LGBTI+ youth about safe sexual health and related factors.
- Improve effectiveness in accessing sexual health care services (SHCS) for LGBTI+ youth.
- Reduce the rate of unsafe oral, anal, and vaginal sex among LGBTI+ youth.
