PRIDE MindZ is a communication project that aims at improving:

    1. basic knowledge of mental health and
    2. the range of information access of friendly services for young LGBTI+ in the age of 16 to 24.

The project is joint-organized by the Lighthouse Social Enterprise and Inside Out House with support from ViiV Healthcare.

The project operates restlessly within 6 months from March to September of 2022 on Facebook. PRIDE MindZ improved the basic knowledge of mental health through various formats, i.e more than 70 Facebook posts and educational videos with various specific psychology statuses of the Vietnamese LGBTI+ community and 04 podcast episodes to share personal psychology experiences.

Besides, the project cooperates with more than 20 providers which offer the LGBTI-friendly health service on over the country and systemizes a large amount of useful information on services and financial support for LGBTI+ individuals, knowledge on SOGIESC from the consultant, the unit’s experience in working with LGBTI+ clients, the friendliness of the consultation room’s environment and facilities, and its public support for the LGBTI+ community. All content, media messages, and images of the project are built on insights from young LGBTI+ people that the project has previously surveyed and researched.
